• At least 5 years of experience as an Assistant Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager in a similar-sized hotel.
• Ability to carry out routine checks and manage requests promptly.
• Experience in training team members.

We are looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer who will :

• Support the Chief Engineer in the overall engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel
• Ensure that all training needs for team members are identified, processed promptly, and undertaken at an appropriate time
• Carry out routine spot checks of equipment
• Ensure that the engineering provision is delivered and meets the departmental objectives
• Promote a helpful and professional image to guests and other team members by responding with full and positive cooperation to requests received
• Manage requests promptly, helpfully, politely and with a caring attitude
• Have experience leading a large maintenance team
• Be hands‑on and strong with stakeholder management

• Have previous experience an Assistant Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager in a similar sized hotel
