Overview

With a long tradition of boys' rowing, since turning co-ed, the school has rapidly built a strong and robust girls' programme, delivering consistent, high-level performances in multiple boat types. Latymer Upper Boat Club (LUSBC) is now one of the most successful co-educational school boat clubs in Britain, with established sculling and sweep rowing programmes. The boat club boasts impressive participation numbers spread equally across girls and boys.

Role and responsibilities

The role of the Assistant Boathouse Manager is to support the Boathouse Manager in all matters relating to the Boat Club. The role involves coaching across the club, while taking direct responsibility for the performance and progression of either the Year 10 Girls or Boys Squad.

The role will be split approximately between 20 hours working as an Assistant Boathouse Manager and 20 hours working as a Rowing Coach, as directed by the Head of Rowing. This may vary depending on the time of year and the required needs.
