RG Consultancy are supporting a business in Altrincham with the following vacancy:

This role is ideal for an assistant accountant who has experience in an SME of circa £25m turnover, or an accounts assistant who has experience in assisting with the duties detailed below.

Duties
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities.
  • Support in preparing budgets, forecasts, and audit requirements.
  • Process payroll and other routine financial statements.
  • Prepare key financial reports such as the profit and loss statement and VAT submissions.
  • Provide general HR and administrative support as required.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, revenue, and costs.
  • Assist with month-end processes, including journals, reconciliations, and closing ledgers.
  • Monitor cashflow and ensure regular updates.
