Job description

We are looking for a Product Assistant/Coordinator to join our dynamic EMEIA wholesale team. The role will support the Senior Product & Market Manager in delivering the product strategy for our partners with extensive competitor analysis, understanding our sell-in and sell-out results, gathering partners' feedbacks and assisting on product trainings. Acting as an ambassador for Burberry, you will have a solid understanding of the luxury environment and will act as the day‑to‑day contact for the wholesale team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare Seasonal pre‑market guidance & guidelines deck for wholesale team & seasonal sellers
  • Attend Collection Presentation in London, 4 times per year
  • Support Senior Product Manager to prepare buying guidelines for the team & present to the team
  • Attend market 4 times per year in Paris and support the wholesale team in all product related queries
  • Daily presence in the Showroom to support teams & ensure smooth appointments
  • Support in product communication during market: additions, cancellations, changes
  • Update on virtual showroom: linesheets, interface, buying tool blockers & outage comms
  • Sales campaign reporting during market to share with Senior Product Manager
  • Post sales campaign analysis: sell in by category (by line, function, best sellers, comparison with previous seasons) & opportunities
  • Prepare buy recaps
  • Support Senior Manager to gather feedback regarding market
  • Complete any administrative tasks as required by the team
  • Prepare a weekly free stock report & deliveries update to share with the team
  • Run the retail best‑sellers & share retail updates to team
  • Support in comparative shop analysis and input to share with Central Merchandising
  • Ad‑hoc analysis on product performance and opportunities
  • Work with the team to combine monthly sell‑out results and product best‑sellers for wholesale
  • Combine a monthly product deck with Senior Product Manager and participate in the team meeting
  • Send bi‑monthly Burberry newsletter to partners
  • Update the team on product changes, delays, cancellations, price updates throughout the season
  • Support the team with product related queries
  • Share the pistachio labels to wholesale partners
  • Prepare product knowledge training documents
  • Support Senior Manager to host training sessions for the partners
  • Assist in creating seasonal styling guidelines for key digital partners
Qualifications
  • Strong sensitivity to the luxury fashion industry: knowledge of trends, key brands & industry updates
  • Proficiency in all programs on Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Display an ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work and multi‑task in a busy, fast‑paced team environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business
  • Previous administration experience
  • Previous experience with SAP and NuOrder desirable
