Our Asset Strategy team has an exciting opportunity for a Waste Treatment Asset Strategy Lead to shape the future of wastewater management.

You’ll lead a small team responsible for developing long‑term asset strategies that guide short‑term investment decisions and align with our strategic ambitions set out in the DWMP.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies for sewage treatment assets.
  • Secure funding and create compelling business cases, particularly for the WINEP programme.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape the PR29 business plan.
  • Provide strategic oversight, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Represent the team with regulators and industry groups, ensuring compliance and effective reporting.

You’ll be based out of our head office in Coventry and, given the critical nature of the role, we’re ideally looking for someone who can join us for 37 hours a week; however, we would consider part‑time hours.
