Job description
Role Overview

The Client Reporting organization manages the production of over 700,000 client deliverables annually, spanning recurring marketing, client, and regulatory-driven reporting across all client channels and asset classes. The organization is embarking on a multi-year, global transformation to implement a new Target State, including the deployment of a new vendor reporting platform, optimization of data management, template enhancements, operating model convergence, and the decommissioning of legacy systems.

The Program Director will lead this strategic initiative, reporting to the Head of Client Reporting. The role will directly manage a team of seven (Associate to Vice President) and exercise significant influence over cross-functional teams, including Client Reporting, Product, Technology, and external vendor partners.

Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end leadership for the Client Reporting Target State program, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain robust program governance, including steering committee engagement, risk management, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders (including Operating Committee members), ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective communication throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Set clear direction for workstream leads and deliverable owners, ensuring accountability, resource allocation, and timely delivery of program milestones.
  • Serve as the primary interface with the vendor’s Program Manager, driving successful implementation, issue resolution, and realization of program benefits.
  • Collaborate with the Product Lead and Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of the new reporting platform and alignment with data management strategies.
  • Lead change management efforts, including stakeholder readiness, training, and adoption strategies to ensure successful transition to the Target State.
  • Oversee program budget, track financial performance, and ensure delivery of business case outcomes, including scalability, client experience, and cost efficiencies.
Desired qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Relevant experience in asset management, program management, and/or client reporting, with a strong track record of delivering complex, global transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale vendor implementations, ideally involving reporting platforms (Kurtosys, Factset Vermillion or equivalent) and data management solutions (Snowflake).
  • Experience leading cross-functional and matrixed teams in a global environment, with a strong track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing talent.
  • High degree of organizational excellence, urgency, and results orientation.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including executive and committee-level audiences.
  • Ability to deploy appropriate project management tools and methodologies (JIRA, Agile practices, Prince2/APM/PMP).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
