Job Description

As an Asset Interface Manager, you are crucial in the continuous improvement of our asset data and a key partner to our project teams, supporting the development of plans and informing our capital investment portfolio.

Working closely with our Specialist Systems, you will have the unique opportunity to build on your existing knowledge of electrical and electronic assets, with particular particular focus on security detection equipment, SCADA and associated assets.

This is a Monday to Friday role working primarily at D'Albiac House. Please note that this role does not attract shift allowance.

Responsibilities
  • Developing close relationships with the project delivery teams and represent our operational delivery teams, to ensure high standards are achieved and delivered.
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate records to preserve data integrity and improve the quality and accuracy of our asset information.
  • Seamless delivery of new assets into the operation, ensuring asset integration and associated records are to the required standards.
  • Representing the engineering and baggage operation in project and technical forums, communicating asset requirements.
  • Delivering a structured approach to the development of asset integrity where the technical wants and needs of the delivery team is understood and catered for.
Qualifications
  • Engineering based qualification to level 4 or higher, or equivalent work experience.
  • Broad, transferable knowledge of a wide range of assets, systems, and improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of management systems and risk management.
  • Collaborative, influential and he ability to clearly demonstrate appropriate behaviour.
  • Effective problem solver, analytical approach to complex issue and developing innovative solutions.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Familiarity with the project lifecycle process.
  • Familiarity with the security product (specialist systems).

Working Location

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
