Holt Engineering is working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Havant, seeking a skilled and experienced Assembly Technician.

The successful candidate will join a company with clients across the globe in a very interesting and exciting industry.

With years of experience in designing and manufacturing electrical and assembly products, they are based in a modern facility in Hampshire and are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician to join their expanding team.

This role offers a permanent contract, working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.

Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities for the Assembly Technician:
  1. Manufacturing PCB Assemblies
  2. Preparing and checking kits
  3. Wiring modifications
  4. Cable and harness assembly
  5. Mechanical assembly
  6. Working to ECSS specifications
Requirements to be a successful Assembly Technician:
  1. ESD awareness - Essential
  2. ECSS-Q-ST-70-61C - Essential
  3. ECSS-Q-ST-70-26C - Desirable
  4. Ability to read technical drawings
  5. Carry out microscopic soldering
  6. Great attention to detail
  7. Recognize specific components
  8. Discipline of a cleanroom
  9. Self-motivated
