Assembly Fitter 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Dorking
Department: Assembly
Hours: 39 per week
Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm, Friday 7:30am-3:00pm (hour unpaid lunch)
Pay: £13.44-£14.61 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

About the Role

Join our Assembly Department as an Assembly Fitter on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll play a key role in assembling sub-assemblies and main assemblies to meet production plans, following defined processes and drawings. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and main assemblies according to process sheets and drawings.
  • Complete build documentation accurately and on time.
  • Maintain high standards of workplace safety and housekeeping.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and the company’s Quality Management System.
  • Report equipment faults, component shortages, and safety concerns promptly.
