Basic Qualifications
  • High School Education or GED equivalency.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts according to process sheet/print instructions.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, magnetic testing as required (i.e. dielectric, meggar, hipot, etc.).
  • Perform in-process hi‑pot testing; perform basic set up of fixtures.
  • Perform vapor blasting as required; perform inventory counts and verification.
  • Assist with prototype or first‑time builds with guidance from higher‑level employees.
  • Assist Engineering and/or Team in development and/or improvement of layout procedures and process sheets.
  • Review expiration date of materials to ensure all are current.
  • Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products; maintain good housekeeping skills.
  • Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures.
  • Cross‑train other employees as needed based on knowledge and experience.
  • Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation.
  • Report problems to the appropriate resource and/or Coach.
  • Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or set up.
  • Communicate with the team to ensure all members are aware of new processes and/or issues; may interact with internal cross‑functional teams (i.e. planning).
  • Participate in and support team initiatives.
  • Understand and abide by the GE Leadership behaviors.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Preferred assembly, solder, and electronics manufacturing experience.

Physical Demands

• Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition.

• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance; ability to continuously sit; ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs; ability to push/pull up to 22 lbs.

The pay for this position is $18/hour. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close 8/30/25.
