Hours : Mon–Fri, 08 : 30–16 : 00

Pay : £88–£115 per day

About the School

A welcoming and inclusive special school in Maidenhead is seeking a Graduate Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to join their team. The school supports pupils aged 2–19 with severe and complex learning difficulties, many with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

Work in a nurturing, child-centred environment alongside a multi-disciplinary team, including qualified Speech and Language Therapists (SALTs), to deliver interventions that help pupils develop communication, social, and emotional skills.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1 and small group interventions to children with speech, language and communication needs
  • Support teachers in autism-friendly lessons
  • Help pupils build communication, social, and emotional skills
  • Collaborate with SALTs, teachers, and support staff
  • Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and wellbeing
Candidate Requirements

  • Full-time availability during term-time
  • Able to travel to Maidenhead
