An educational recruitment agency is looking for a Qualified Teacher to work in a supportive SEND primary school in Tameside. This role is ideal for enthusiastic teachers eager to develop within special educational needs. Responsibilities include planning lessons tailored to pupils' needs and working with a strong support team. Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a positive attitude. Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming SEND primary school to recruit a Qualified Teacher who is enthusiastic, motivated and eager to develop their experience within special educational needs.
This role is well suited to teachers who may be early in their SEND journey, including newly qualified or mainstream‑trained teachers, who are keen to learn, adapt and make a meaningful impact. The school has a strong, experienced support team and provides excellent guidance, training and mentoring.
The pupils are aged 4-11 and have a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), speech and language needs, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties. Class sizes are small, with a high staff‑to‑pupil ratio to ensure you are fully supported.
Previous SEND experience is welcome but not essential - a genuine interest and commitment to learning is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
