Job summary

A reputable educational support organization in Witney is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help motivate and support pupils with special educational needs. Ideal candidates should have a university degree, preferably in Psychology or Criminology, and experience with SEN is beneficial but not required. This full-time position offers £85 - £95 per day, working Monday to Friday. Role

A fantastic SEN school in Witney is looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to help support and motivate their pupils with additional needs. The children in the school have a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, multi-sensory impairments, speech and language needs, and physical disabilities. The students require a Graduate who is bubbly, understanding, empathetic and patient.

Responsibilities
  • Support a small group of SEN pupils in the classroom with their learning and emotional needs.
  • Ensure each child stays on track with their work and meets their milestones.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating a classroom that is engaging and supportive.
  • Provide personal care as required, such as toileting and feeding.
  • Learn how to implement individualised support plans and learning strategies.
  • Shadow the psychologist and therapist on-site to gain experience for future educational psychologist training.
