Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a committed and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join a well-regarded asbestos consultancy who provide a wide range of asbestos and environmental services throughout the UK. The ideal applicant will hold the P402/3/4 certificates and will be based in and around the Telford area. Our client will also consider applications from P402 qualified surveyors or P403/4 qualified site analysts. Consideration will be given to applications from Shrewsbury, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Cannock and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Will hold the P402/P403/P404 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification. Although consideration will be given to P402 or P403/4 qualified site staff.
• Experience of working in this role within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills essential.
• A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.

Key Tasks:

• Undertake asbestos 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
• Supervising asbestos contractors on site ensuring full compliance with asbestos health and safety procedures.
• Collating and producing asbestos reports.
• Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
