Job description

Our client is a multi-disciplinary company providing various asbestos, environmental and water treatment services to a wide and prestigious portfolio of clients across the UK.

Due to continuous growth of their asbestos side of the business, this client is now seeking a high calibre and self‑driven Asbestos Business Development/Sales Manager based in the North West. You will cover the North and the Midlands, hence extensive travelling will be involved with this role.

Attributes & Experience
  • Candidate comes from a strong background in asbestos, technical, management, consultancy and sales.
  • Well‑versed with the asbestos industry.
  • Proven track record working within this role and within the asbestos market.
Main Responsibilities
  • Cross‑sell Asbestos Consultancy Services to a cross‑section of clients from commercial through to large public‑sector contracts, including blue‑chip companies.
  • Develop a network of contacts.
  • Foster good relationships with clients – helping to maximise contract values while adhering to the company’s procedures and policies.
  • Make appointments and follow up with meetings and presentations.
  • Ensure targets are met.
  • Liaise with clients from all levels.
Requirements

Commercially focused, astute, with excellent communication, organisational, leadership and people‑management skills in order to inspire a high level of performance within the asbestos sector and drive the business forward.

We are also interested in candidates with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP qualifications.
