Overview

Our client is a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy, providing expert consultations and asbestos services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking the services of an experienced, enthusiastic and commercially driven Asbestos Sales Manager based in and around the Aberdeen area. The successful candidate will come from a strong sales management background and will possess specialist asbestos industry knowledge. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience growing and developing a varied portfolio of clients. Applications from Stonehaven, Balmedie, Banchory and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• A strong sales, business development, management, technical and office background is essential.
• Ideally experience working in a business development or sales role within the asbestos or environmental industry.
• Have a good formal education.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Role

• Resourcing new contracts whilst managing existing ones.
• Involvement with the sales, commercial and financial side of the business.
• Promoting the company’s asbestos services.
• Produce quotations and submit tenders.
• Develop and monitor business forecasts and budgets.
• Build a professional working relationship with clients/customers.
• Maintaining the company’s systems.
• Attend and conduct meetings to discuss financial position of the business, etc.
• Achieving target and goals.
• Assist in the development of the sales staff by providing further training where required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures.
• Developing plans for new clients and suppliers – contracts or services.
