Our client is part of a large multi-disciplinary organization and to business commitment, they are now looking for a self-driven and astute Asbestos Operations Manager to work for their asbestos division in the North West.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, they are looking for a professional who comes from a strong technical, management, operational, office and asbestos background.

Must hold the P402, P403 and P404 or ideally the CCP.

Must be well versed with the asbestos market.

Must have worked within a similar role and within the asbestos industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring contract operations are coordinated with clients and are efficiently carried out in accordance with site operations and company procedures.

Running the office systems including pricing and invoicing, etc.

Managing staff/team on site and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety procedures.

Liaising with the company’s high profile clients.

Getting involved with technical reviews and up keeping proposals and reports.

Mentoring and training asbestos surveyors and analysts.

Managing and controlling projects, contracts and portfolios.

Assisting with tenders and quotations.

Solving problems and dealing with various issues.

Liaising with the company’s large portfolio of clients.

Maintaining and developing their business – taking a step further.

Overall, the successful candidate will be commercially focused and versatile and manage the business effectively.

Will have good communication, organizational, people management and client facing skills and at the same time work under pressure.
