Job description

Our client is part of a large multi-disciplinary organisation providing a broad range of consultancy services including asbestos, environmental, water hygiene, occupational hygiene and other services to clients.

They are now seeking to expand further and are now recruiting for a self-driven Asbestos Operations Manager to join them in the East Midlands and would include applicants from Derbyshire, Leicester and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

Applicants will have a proven track record of working within this role with significant experience of working for a UKAS accredited company and within the asbestos industry, and must have attained the P402, P405 or the S301 qualifications or equivalent.

The Role:

• Approving asbestos reports as and when required.
• Promoting the company’s business and at the same time managing the accounts.
• Getting involved with technical reviews and up keeping proposals and reports.
• Mentoring and training asbestos surveyors.
• Assisting with tenders and quotations.
• Solving problems and dealing with various issues.
• Liaising with the company’s large portfolio of clients.

Overall, the successful candidate will be commercially focused, versatile and manage the business effectively.

Will have good communication, organisational, people management and client facing skills and at the same time the ability to work under pressure.
