Job description

Our client is a well‑known name within the asbestos industry and, due to their current success, they require an experienced Asbestos Lead Surveyor to join their busy office/team in the South West area. Consideration will be given to applications from Somerset, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Must hold the P402 or an equivalent RSPH qualification.
  • Previous experience working in this role within the asbestos sector.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • IT literate.
  • Well‑versed with asbestos Health & Safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake asbestos management, refurbishment/demolition surveys on a variety of properties including commercial and industrial.
  • Produce accurate, comprehensive asbestos reports.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the company’s portfolio of clients.
  • Manage and train staff.
  • Carry out consultancy duties as required.
  • Assist in managing projects, preparing fee proposals, technical coordination and auditing in line with the company’s procedures.
