This well-established company in the asbestos industry is now urgently seeking a confident and experienced Asbestos Operations/Commercial Manager in the London/South East region to cover and grow upon a wide range of contracts. Applications from Hertfordshire, Essex, London and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of working in an operations/contracts management role in the asbestos removals industry.
• A strong work ethic with drive and determination.
• A strong technical, management and commercial background.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
• Competent with the Microsoft Office package.

Role

• Procure and develop new business leads.
• Run the operations/contracts side of the business.
• Ensure contract operations are co‑ordinated with clients and carried out effectively.
• Comply with all quality and technical procedures in regards to asbestos.
• Deal with larger bids and tenders.
• Manage the commercial aspect of projects.
