Job Title: Asbestos Business Development Manager
Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland.
Salary / Benefits £35k – £65k + OTE + Company Car / Car Allowance.

We are working with a leading Asbestos Removals Company based in Scotland who are looking to take on an Asbestos Business Development Manager. This role would suit someone who has experience working hands on within the asbestos industry, within a removals company and has a proven track record working within a sales / business management role. You will be responsible for the development / management of existing clients and sourcing new business. You will also be overseeing the business development team, providing training and support to maximise results.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hamilton, East Kilbride, Kilmarnock, Paisley, Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Kincardine, Stirling, Edinburgh, Penicuik, Dunfermline, Kirkaldy.

Experience & Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will have experience working in a sales / business development role within the Asbestos industry.
  • Proven track record of managing surveying, removals and demolition accounts.
  • Extensive knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
  • Will have excellent IT skills.
  • Able to manage time efficiently, in line with company / client needs.
  • Communicating with colleagues / clients efficiently.
The Role
  • Efficiently managing and overseeing existing contracts alongside sourcing new business opportunities.
  • Upselling and promoting surveying and removal services to new and existing clients.
  • Ensuring to meet targets and KPIs.
  • Preparing and providing clients with tenders and quotations.
  • Ensuring that all internal systems are accurate and up to date.
  • Ensuring there is development and efficient management of business forecasting, continuously monitoring.
  • Providing new and existing clients with asbestos management plans.
  • Carrying out training with new and existing employees.
  • Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
  • Attending meetings with clients to discuss finance and development of projects, dealing with any queries and issues.
