Qualifications

  • Experience in administration within the asbestos industry is beneficial.
  • Interest in certifications P401, P402, P403, P404, or S301 CCP.

Responsibilities

  • Generate asbestos survey reports.
  • Upload reports and drawings.
  • Schedule asbestos site staff.
  • Liaise with clients/customers.
  • Manage and train office staff.
  • Type up, check, and analyze asbestos reports.
  • Send certificates to clients.
  • Carry out administrative tasks, including booking appointments and filing.

Job description

Our client is a well-established asbestos consultancy, that delivers a wide range of asbestos surveying and analytical duties to long-standing clients throughout the UK. Due to recent expansion, they are now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Asbestos Administrator based in and around the St Helens area. Applications will be considered from Leigh, Wigan, Bolton, and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Holding the P402 would be beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience working within the asbestos analytical industry
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package
  • Previous administration experience within the asbestos industry beneficial
  • Experience of TEAMS/TRACKER software
  • Experience of office management would be advantageous
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Interest in candidates holding p401, p402, p403, p404 or s301 CCP
Key Duties
  • Generating asbestos survey reports
  • Uploading reports and drawings
  • Scheduling asbestos site staff
  • Liaising with clients/customers
  • Managing and training office staff
  • Typing up, checking and analysing asbestos reports
  • Sending certificates to clients
  • Carrying out all administrative tasks, booking appointments, filing time sheets, etc.
  • Dealing with internal and external databases and offering technical help to customers and staff
