Job summary

An industry-leading asbestos consultancy in Chelmsford is looking for an Asbestos Administrator / Project Co-ordinator. You will coordinate work, liaise with clients, and manage reports while supporting management with various administrative tasks. Candidates with BOHS P401 qualification are preferred but not essential. This role offers a great opportunity for progression through training provided by the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience working for a UKAS accredited company.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to organise workload efficiently.
  • Experience using TEAMS / TRACKER systems would be beneficial.
  • Will have excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Holding the BOHS P401 qualification would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling work for a team of asbestos staff.
  • Acting as first point of call for clients.
  • Confirming work and coordinating projects.
  • Typing up accurate reports.
  • Liaising with staff to amend issues in reports.
  • Providing support to management.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties.

We have an exciting position open for an Asbestos Administrator / Project Co-ordinator to work for an industry leading Asbestos Consultancy. You will be co-ordinating work and liaising with Retail, Government, and Commercial clients, assigning work to asbestos staff, as well as typing reports using information provided from site staff. Our client can offer the BOHS P402 training to the successful candidate with progression into a QC verifier role. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Romford, Hornchurch, Barking, Dagenham, Rainham, Erith, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Brentwood, Grays, Swanley.

Experience & Qualifications

The Role
  • Scheduling in work to be carried out on Retail, Government, and Commercial sites for a team of asbestos staff.

  • Receiving information from site to type up accurate reports.
  • Liaising with asbestos staff to amend any issues in reports.
  • Providing support to management.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties, e.g., scanning, filing, emails / phone calls, document control.
