We are currently recruiting for an Artworker / Print Operator to join a busy and creative production team within a well-established print and design business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in both artwork creation and print production, who thrives in a fast-paced, varied role.

This dual-role position offers a balance between artworking and print operation (50 / 50 split, varying with workload). You'll be working on a range of creative projects, preparing artwork for production, while also taking responsibility for operating and maintaining state-of-the-art large format print machinery.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare artwork using Adobe Creative Suite, Onyx and Microsoft Office.
• Set up, manage and run large format print jobs on machines including: HP Latex 2000, HP Latex 2700, Summa F3232.
• Ensure artwork is print-ready, checking for accuracy and consistency.
• Work closely with colleagues to manage workloads between artwork and print production.
• Maintain high quality standards and troubleshoot issues as required.
• Assist with finishing tasks and general production duties when necessary.

About You

• Previous experience in an artworking and / or print production role.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Familiarity with Onyx RIP software desirable.
• Practical experience working with large format print machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks.
