Temp-to-Perm Option (MPS/UPS + TLR 2)

An ambitious secondary school within Star Academies is seeking a Subject Lead for Art to provide strong curriculum and departmental leadership.

This role suits an outstanding Art teacher ready to step into, or continue in, middle leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Art across KS3 and KS4, including curriculum, assessment, and standards
  • Drive high-quality teaching and learning through coaching and support
  • Use data to raise attainment, particularly for disadvantaged pupils
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement and enrichment opportunities
  • Support KS2-KS3 transition within the subject
Person Specification
  • QTS and a relevant degree (2:2 or above)
  • Proven track record of strong or outstanding Art teaching
  • Secure subject knowledge to GCSE level
