  • Produce Post Pilot Reports with recommendations.
  • Liaise with agencies regarding training assurance.
  • Conduct training audit activities.
Job description
Overview

This position provides pivotal support and evidence to training development and continuity, ensuring training standards are maintained and continually improved. You will report on training delivery and training support including the measurement and recording of trainee outcomes providing evidence and advice on trainee performance. You will be expected to understand the wider impact of your team’s activities within learning environment and the wider MOD. You will be responsible for keeping your own knowledge up to date.

Responsibilities
  • Effective management of the Training Evaluation and Assurance function for courses delivered in Chatham.
  • Manage and provide regular evaluation data/evidence of interpretation/interrogation of assessment statistics, trainee and trainer feedback, trend analysis and monitoring of course statistics.
  • Provide advice on the use of evaluation and validation applications on the MOD learning management systems.
  • Creation, amendment, and management of document templates in system.
  • Check, comment and assure Training Change Requests (TCR), including validity of change and implementation of change in relation to assessments and assurance activities.
  • Observe adherence to course training plans and endorsed training documentation.
  • Management of small Training Evaluation and Assurance team (2 personnel).
  • Support other HQ RSME Training Evaluation and Assurance branch teams with work requirements.
  • Manage the presentation of feedback to training staff, training managers and Unit Commanders.
  • Producing and publishing Post Pilot Reports for stakeholders with recommendations and advice.
  • Maintain liaison with internal and external agencies on matters relating to training assurance and assessment.
  • Act as part of the RSME team, conduct training audit activities.
