Overview

Join Sentrillion as a Full-Time Area Security Service Technician in the Worcester, MA area, with the opportunity to work fully remotely. This position is suitable for experienced satellite, telecom and computer hardware technicians looking to apply their skills in a dynamic federal environment. You will contribute to security solutions that protect vital government operations. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $80,000.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain computer and camera surveillance systems across a specified geographic region, including managing computers, data networks, digital video cameras, recorders, power supplies, and fiber optics.
  • Install, update, and maintain hardware and software while ensuring precise asset accountability and detailed maintenance records.
  • Leverage advanced electrical theory to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, using diagnostic tools to calibrate and adjust electronic equipment to stringent specifications.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Solid foundation in computers, data networks, digital video systems and fiber optics; basic electronics principles.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, including transmission, broadcasting, switching, and control.
  • Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, chips, and both hardware and software applications; proficiency in use, repair, and maintenance of various machines and tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain government-issued security clearances; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000.
