Responsibilities

  • Promote services and benefits to customers through visits and cold calling.
  • Manage existing customer portfolio and target new business.
  • Work with Depot Manager to manage customers within an agreed sales area.
  • Achieve revenue growth against depot budget.
  • Complete planners, call reports, and account updates.
  • Carry out site surveys for customer assistance.
  • Build effective customer relationships.
  • Exceed goals and targets.

Position: Area Sales Representative

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Commission

Shifts: Monday – Friday, days

OTE: £60,000+

About your new company:

My client is a leading provider Powered Access machinery, due to their continued success they are now looking for a skilled Area Sales Representative to join their ever growing team. A strong background in the Powered Access sector is essential for this role.

About your new Area Sales Representative role:
  • Promote all our services and benefits to the customer, maximising sales through face-to-face visits and cold calling
  • Manage an existing customer portfolio and target new business in accordance with depot targets
  • Work with the Depot Manager to retain and manage all customers and sites within an agreed sales area
  • Achieve revenue growth against depot budget and reactivate dormant accounts
  • Complete weekly planners, call reports, and update account management, site sheets, and quote records
  • Carry out site surveys as required, assisting the customer in selecting the appropriate machine for the task
  • Build effective customer relationships, exceed customer service expectations, and resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily
  • Achieve goals and objectives and exceed targets
What you’ll need to succeed for this Area Sales Representative role:
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record in the rental sector
  • Customer-focused with excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively face-to-face and over the phone
  • Proactive, confident, and a personable negotiation
  • Full Category B driving licence essential
