ACUVUE® is currently the No. 1 selling contact lens in the world and is distributed in over 70 countries worldwide.

Purpose of the role

This is a field-based role based in London focused on proactively growing the ACUVUE® portfolio through the achievement of all sales targets. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for leading, coaching, developing and motivating a team of 7 ACUVUE® Account Managers within the region.

What to expect:

Sales Team management and leadership to achieve sales targets and to ensure the sales effort is consistent with the CREDO, business compliance and UKI core strategies.

Achieve overall business growth targets for the region, team members and source of growth.

Deliver on core Sales Force Effectiveness metrics.

Actively participate in and contribute to national sales meetings, leading regional meetings and attend customer meetings.

People development by recruiting, training, coaching and managing your team to ensure continuous improvement of both the individual and the Company.

Cross functional collaboration by developing positive relationships, working closely and effectively to develop growth opportunities & ensure strong execution.

Strategic business planning by developing, implementing and reviewing quarterly regional plans.

Who are we looking for?

Educated to degree level and will have experience (either directly or indirectly) in managing, leading & mentoring a team of highly motivated individuals within the MedTech arena.

Be able to demonstrate relevant B2B field sales experience (proficient selling across both commercial and clinical environments) with a consistent record of success.

Forge lasting relationships with critical partners both internally and externally to drive your plans and strategies forward while building J&J Vision's reputation as a trusted partner.

Excellent listening skills and be an effective communicator who can present in a clear, engaging, and inspiring manner both your aims and objectives, and the expectations of others.

Effective delegation and prioritisation are critical skills to enable you to work with efficiency and focus while empowering others around you to broaden their leadership experience.

Proficient in English both verbal and written communication.

Must be self-disciplined, organised, and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives and your own time management.

An understanding of the UK Optical system, including the various customers and commercial processes – evidenced through direct experience - would be advantageous but not critical.

Full and clean driving license wit with a willingness to travel, 50% of the role will be in the field with the team and customers.
