Area Sales Manager – Interior Doors

Industry sector: Internal Doors, Timber Doors, Oak Doors, Joinery, Timber Windows, Independent Merchants, Builders Merchants, Buying Groups, Timber Merchants, Retailers, Door Specialist, Door Retailers, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Building Products.

Area to be covered: South West & South Wales.

Remuneration: £45,000 + 25% – 35% bonus.

Benefits: Hybrid company car and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Field sales position selling a comprehensive range of high‑quality interior doors and ancillary products.
  • Spend majority of time selling to independent builders merchants and managing/expanding those accounts.
  • Sell to specialist door retailers, joinery retailers & distributors for the remainder of the time.
  • Liaise with internal team for account management of existing clients.
  • Manage order values ranging from around £2k – £60k per month.
  • Allocate 80% of time to account management and 20% to new business development.
  • Organise own diary and visits to develop relationships with merchants.
  • Liaise with internal support staff and marketing team to maximise sales within the territory.
