Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist/Architect to join our expanding architectural team in Bristol.

You will be responsible for transforming preliminary designs into buildable solutions, involving all aspects of architectural delivery, coordinating detailed information across disciplines, and serving as the first point of contact for the site delivery team. The role also includes managing package procurement, programming in line with design milestones, responding to technical queries, reviewing sub-contractor information, leading design and coordination meetings, supporting the contractor during construction, and liaising with management to report on project status.

Candidates must be able to work well within an integrated design team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and quality. Strong communication skills with clients and professional teams are essential. The ability to work independently, be competitive, and ambitious is required. Experience in Data Centres or similar sectors is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical design support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery in line with client requirements.
  • Leading and managing technical project teams, liaising with clients and contractors.
  • Organizing and coordinating design teams and subcontractors.
  • Managing day-to-day project tasks, including producing design deliverables, providing technical information, conducting site inspections, condition surveys, monitoring delivery, and managing design changes impacting fees or project timelines.
