An opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist with 5 years of experience to join a well-established architectural practice delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions with a strong focus on residential and commercial projects.

As an Architectural Technician / Architectural Technologist, you will support the technical delivery of projects, producing robust construction information and coordinating designs from planning through to completion.

This full-time role offers hybrid working options, a salary range of £28,000 - £38,000 and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Producing detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit
  • Coordinating technical design information across multiple project stages
  • Preparing and submitting planning and building regulations applications
  • Liaising with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to support smooth delivery
  • Ensuring designs comply with UK Building Regulations, building safety standards and best practice
  • Incorporating sustainable design principles into technical solutions
Qualifications
  • Previously worked as an Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician, Part 2 Architectural Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong background of 5 years in UK residential design and construction, including new builds and conversions
  • Member of CIAT (ACIAT, MCIAT) or RIBA
  • Skilled in producing RIBA Stage 4 and 5 drawing packages
  • Advanced Revit capability with a solid understanding of BIM processes
  • In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies
