Are you a talented Architectural Technologist looking for your next challenge? A well established architectural practice in North Devon is seeking an experienced and driven professional to join their busy and growing team. This role offers the chance to work on a broad mix of projects, from high quality residential developments to commercial and community buildings, across the South West region.

You'll take ownership of projects from early concept stages through to completion, producing accurate technical drawings and specifications, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensuring designs meet building regulations and quality standards. Proficiency in Revit is essential, as you'll be producing detailed design packages within a collaborative, design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects through all RIBA stages, from planning applications to site completion
  • Prepare comprehensive technical drawings, schedules, and specifications using Revit
  • Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and best practice standards
  • Work both independently and as part of a close knit project team
Requirements
  • Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) status preferred, but experienced candidates on the path to chartership will be considered
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong Revit skills are essential
  • Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods and materials
  • Confident communicator with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
