Architectural Technician – Barnstaple

£35,000‑£50,000 + Bonus + Mileage + Progression

Are you an experienced technician with strong Revit skills? Are you looking to join a close‑knit, innovative team?

This is a well‑established architectural practice with a diverse portfolio that includes housing developments, private residences, extensions and refurbishments, as well as heritage and conservation projects. While most of the work is located within an hour of the office, the practice is actively expanding, with clear plans in place to drive future growth. Project values range from a few thousand pounds up to £2 million, offering both variety and complexity. We are now seeking an experienced technician to join our team who can manage a growing workload and play a key role in supporting the continued development of the business.

In this role you will contribute to a diverse range of projects across the rural, residential, and commercial sectors. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed technical drawings, producing planning application packages, assisting with building regulations submissions, carrying out measured building surveys, liaising with clients and consultants, and supporting projects through to delivery, among other duties.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technician with strong Revit skills and have experience working for a practice. Candidates will need to live within a commutable distance of the Barnstaple office or be willing to relocate. This is primarily an office‑based role, with regular site visits expected a few times per week within an hour of the office.
