Job Title: Architect / Technologist

Salary: (dependent on experience)

Location: Glasgow

Type: Contract (hybrid) – October 2025 to July 2026

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Technical Architect or Technologist to support the design and delivery of a large-scale industrial manufacturing facility. You will join their Glasgow team within a multi-disciplinary environment, contributing to projects from early design stages through to detailed delivery.

Experience in the Defence sector would be beneficial but is not essential if you have a proven track record delivering complex industrial projects.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of Architects, Technologists, Interior Designers, Engineers and Process Specialists, benefiting from a strong culture of knowledge-sharing, mentoring and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver building and facility designs for industrial processes, with focus on RIBA Stages 2-4.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring co-ordination, clash resolution and model management.
• Engage stakeholders with strong drawing, modelling and communication skills.
• Produce, analyse and advise on specifications, materials and detailed design solutions, using NBS software.
• Use Revit proficiently (BIM Level 2), and advanced collaboration tools such as Navisworks, including federation of BIM models and establishing BIM strategy for large projects.
• Apply excellent organisational skills to manage workloads under pressure and to deadlines.
• Bring a positive, flexible and proactive approach to team collaboration.

What Our Client is Looking For

• ARB registered Architect or Chartered Member of CIAT.
• Demonstrable experience across complex industrial or large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, BIM and collaboration software.
• Ability to obtain SC clearance (or already holding clearance is desirable).

Eligibility
