We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to join our London-based team on a 12-month fixed term contract, with the opportunity for a permanent role thereafter. This position is dedicated exclusively to education sector projects, and we are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in this field.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in the delivery of design-led, sustainable architectural solutions within the education sector. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you will lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and creativity throughout. You will also contribute to an open, inclusive and environmentally conscious design culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and delivery on UK-based education projects (primary, secondary, and higher education environments)
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing
  • Use architectural software tools for modelling, documentation, and coordination

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of post-Part 3 experience, with a strong portfolio in education projects
  • Proven ability to manage projects across RIBA stages
  • Excellent technical skills and understanding of UK Building Regulations
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and 3D modelling; familiarity with Rhino and Grasshopper highly desirable
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills
