Location: Shropshire

Salary: £34-40,000

An established and highly respected architectural and design consultancy is seeking a qualified Architect to join its growing multidisciplinary team. With over 30 years of experience, the practice is recognised for delivering commercially astute, design-led solutions across a diverse portfolio that includes garden centres, farm shops, commercial, retail and rural development projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading and contributing to architectural design across all RIBA stages
• Preparing and coordinating planning applications and supporting documentation
• Producing detailed design and technical drawing packages
• Liaising closely with clients, consultants and local authorities
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design information to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Supporting junior team members where required
• Ensuring projects comply with UK Building Regulations and planning policy

The Ideal Candidate

• ARB-registered Architect with experience in UK practice
• Strong design and technical skills with a pragmatic, commercial approach
• Experience delivering planning-led projects is highly desirable
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or BIM software (Revit experience advantageous)
• Good working knowledge of UK planning policy and Building Regulations
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
