Approved Mental Health Professional (Social Worker) — Sanctuary Personnel

Location: Croydon
Contract: Full-time Locum until March 2026
Rate: £42 per hour

Join our team in Croydon as an experienced AMHP in the Croydon AMHP Service. This role involves applying your expertise in mental health legislation and assessment skills in a fast-paced environment, with working hours Monday to Friday at Jeanette Wallace House, Croydon CR0 1FE.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments in line with the Mental Health Act and related legislation.
• Collaborate with service users and other professionals to develop effective care plans and interventions.
• Tackle complex cases, ensuring timely and thorough resolution.
• Prepare detailed, accurate reports and documentation.
• Operate independently under pressure and manage workloads effectively within a supportive team environment.
• Engage with service users with empathy and strong interpersonal skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with current mental health policies and practices.

Qualifications
