We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused Approvals Support Manager to join our team at DVSA. In this key role, you’ll support the Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) and HGV/Trailer technical teams, acting as a vital link between internal and external stakeholders. You’ll manage scheme publications, maintain the Vehicle Approvals Knowledgebase, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and legislation. This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver a high-quality, compliant approval service that supports road safety and industry standards.
Your main responsibilities will include:
To manage IVA Scheme external technical publications on the GOV.UK websitecreating new and amending existing publications with web and policy teams.Programming, planning and co-ordinating activities ensuring objectives are deliveredmanage IVA Scheme and Customer Service Centre internal publications on the DVSA IntranetCollate and publish information, taking responsibility for collecting data and meeting publication deadlines.Technical Interpretation (TI) and Technical Standard Enquiries (TSE) record control.Provide guidance to processing staff to aid delivery of scheme objectivesLiaise with Service Desk and IT providers, negotiating delivery against requirementsFor further information on the role, please read the role profile.
