Trainer – Apprenticeships in Plumbing & Heating

We are looking to recruit three Trainers to support our growing Apprenticeship programme of Plumbing & Heating specialists. The role will be based across our Aylesbury and Wycombe campuses, with travel throughout Buckinghamshire, and involves a full time commitment of 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

About the College
Buckinghamshire College Group is a further‑education college with three campuses in Aylesbury, Amersham and Wycombe. We support over 5,000 learners each year and work closely with local employers such as Pinewood Studios, NHS Trusts and Flannery Plant Hire, among others, to provide industry‑relevant education.

Responsibilities
  • Pass on up‑to‑date vocational knowledge and expertise to apprentices in classroom, workshop and site settings to develop employability and life skills.
  • Promote and discuss additional training, qualifications and courses with employers to be incorporated into apprentices’ training plans.
  • Use industry experience to develop and support our apprenticeship students’ educational journey.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and industry partners to enhance the curriculum and learning experience.
