Role Overview

We are seeking Independent End-Point Assessors for locations across the UK, including North of England (Blackpool, Carlisle, Huddersfield) and South East (Brighton, Hastings, Kent).

The role involves conducting end-point assessments to evaluate the knowledge, skills, and behaviors of apprentices in healthcare support roles, ensuring they meet industry standards. Assessments can be conducted onsite or remotely, with outcomes recorded and submitted for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in training and standardisation activities
  • Maintain evidence of ongoing CPD
  • Assess candidate performance according to published criteria
  • Follow Pearson’s protocols and quality assurance procedures
  • Respond to EPA planning and operational activities
  • Report risks, issues, and suspected malpractice
  • Ensure high-quality assessment reports and evidence
  • Support Pearson with appeals and conflicts of interest
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and external quality assurance
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience working in healthcare settings, hold a relevant assessor qualification, and be registered with the NMC with a current pin number. They should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to assess objectively, and meet the technical knowledge requirements of the healthcare sector and the specific apprenticeship standard.
