A local government authority in Sefton is looking for a committed Apprentice to provide technical support to the Planning Service. This agile role includes delivering technical planning and administrative information while ensuring adherence to legislation. The candidate should be motivated to complete an 18-month training programme. The position is open to diverse applicants, promoting equality and inclusion.

The programme provides work-based training to those who want to learn new skills and gain qualifications while working. Planning Services, Technical Support Team, are looking to recruit an Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the 18 month programme. The main duties of the post are: to provide technical support to the Planning Service including the delivery of technical planning, geographical, electronic, performance and administrative information and support; to contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Planning Service ensuring appropriate legislation and policy guidance is taken into account in any decision making; to undertake responsibilities in a professional and flexible manner with a focus on customer care and value for money. This post is agile, working from Magdalen House, Bootle, L20 3NJ, home and other locations within the borough.
