KION ITS UK has a great opportunity for an Apprentice Payroll Advisor to join our team at our Basingstoke office.

As an Apprentice Payroll Advisor you will complete a Level 3 Payroll Administrator qualification alongside supporting the effective and efficient processing of monthly UK payrolls.

This is a fixed term role for 24 months covering the length of the Payroll Administrator course with the possibility of a future role with the company.

  • In the role you will cover the full range of payroll administration setting you up for a career in Payroll.
  • To support the payroll team in processing the companys UK payrolls ensuring statutory and contractual compliance in all payroll processes.
  • To work in accordance with the payroll software providers managed service processes and deadlines
  • Accurately input payroll data to the payroll system including data for starters and leavers absence statutory leave earnings and deductions fixed and variable.
  • Support the review and checking of payroll system output reports.
  • Produce pay period annual and ad hoc payroll reports and information for the business as required.
  • To complete HMRC Jury Service Court Order and Loss of Earnings forms when required.
  • To assist in the preparation information and reports for internal and external payroll audits.
  • To assist and support colleagues throughout the company to resolve payroll and company benefit queries.
