Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking to recruit enthusiastic Apprentice Health Care Assistants to join their team, assisting qualified nurses in delivering excellent patient care at Queen's Hospital, Romford or King George Hospital, Goodmayes. Responsibilities include working varied shift patterns, assisting patients with hygiene and nutrition, and completing a Level 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker apprenticeship. This is a fixed-term position that may become permanent upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or over.
• Must have the right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• Must have been permanently resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Work shift patterns including day shifts, night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
• Assist patients with hygiene needs.
• Help patients meet their nutritional requirements.
• Attend to all other patient needs as they arise.
• Complete the Level 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker apprenticeship.
• Assist with clerical duties and other mutually agreed tasks.
