Apprentice Level 3 Early Years Educator

Location

Old Hall– The Nest, Pinfold Street, Darlaston, Walsall, WS10 8SY

Accountable to: Head of School and Assistant Head teachers

Contract: Apprenticeship period – 18 months

32.5 hours a week, term time only

Salary

The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice from April 2025 is £7.55 an hour. Apprentices will be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over after completing their first year. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that is part of their apprenticeship.

GCSE English and Maths skills competency required: GCSE English and Mathematics Grade A-C or equivalent is preferred but not essential. If you do not have the relevant grades you will be required to undertake Level 2 Functional Skills.

The Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship is designed for individuals pursuing a career in early childhood education, focusing on nurturing and educating young children. You will work in a classroom supported by an experienced team whilst completing the qualification.

Old Hall School is a specialist setting in Walsall providing education to young people at EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, all of whom have a variety of SEND complexities. The post holder will be joining our vibrant team as we move forward and refine our excellence in nurturing, developing and shaping young lives.
