Overview

Would you like the opportunity to join our highly successful 2-year apprenticeship scheme? Creative Technology UK are seeking determined individuals to join the team on fixed term Level 5 Audiovisual Technician Degree Apprenticeship. This is predominantly a Monday to Friday role based in Crawley; there will be regular evening and weekend work. You will learn from our experienced industry professionals at our UK head office and our warehouse facility in Crawley near Gatwick, West Sussex, rotating through departments learning the fundamentals of our equipment across Video, Audio, Lighting, Display and Networks. This is an excellent opportunity to join our amazing, highly skilled team, with the support of cutting-edge technology and a recognised qualification in partnership with Chichester College Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check in and check out all rental stock. Perform maintenance and testing of equipment ensuring its proper functioning. Prepare systems for delivery to site. Understand the support with our warehouse operation.
  • Experience how we provide technical support for in-house and on-site systems and services. Assist with troubleshooting and problem resolution gaining knowledge in how our systems all come together.
  • Learn the fundamentals of operating complex systems at live shows. Gain knowledge of tasks such as racking, live camera systems, operating switching systems, building and operating processors for LED walls, deploying and managing comms along with radio systems, and experience how to operate the latest technology in the audio world.
  • Build positive working relationships with the Warehouse team, Project Managers and On-Site Engineers.
  • Proactively learn from Creative Technology technical team to enhance your knowledge and skills in the field.
  • Dedicate a minimum of 6 hours per week to coursework. Attend two days per month at Crawley College as part of your educational requirements.
