Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Application Support Analyst to support and maintain critical data-driven applications, including Master Data Management (MDM) systems, ETL processes, and real-time data pipelines.
The role involves hands‑on production support, troubleshooting, and collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure high system availability and data accuracy, particularly in a 24x7 support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support for MDM systems, ETL workflows, and data publishing pipelines.
- Monitor and maintain data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness for downstream systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and performance issues in production environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes in collaboration with development teams.
- Execute SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and issue resolution using Postgres and/or Oracle.
- Support and enhance applications developed in Java (Spring, Maven).
- Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotation, including planned weekend and public holiday activities as required.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to support release deployments, incident management, and change activities.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills with Postgres and/or Oracle RDBMS.
- Hands‑on experience in Java‑based application development (Spring, Maven), particularly in data‑related projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Positive learning mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Willingness to provide 24x7 on‑call support and work during weekends/public holidays when required.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.
- Experience with BMC Control‑M for job scheduling.
- Hands‑on experience in Linux/Unix environments.
- Exposure to AWS cloud technologies.
- Prior experience in the financial services or investment industry.
