Job description

Software Developer

Company Overview

The Airedale Group is the leading market design, installation, and maintenance provider for commercial kitchens in the UK hospitality and food service industry. We work alongside clients from the initial designs through to bespoke fabrication and installation. Coupled with the largest body of professional maintenance engineers in the country, we offer the complete end-to-end solution to our extensive client base. We have long-standing relationships with many of the biggest multi-site brands in the UK.

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Software Developer to join our small, hands-on development team. You'll work on cloud-based applications that support our field service operations across the UK— ranging from job scheduling systems and engineer mobile apps to customer portals and internal tools.

You’ll collaborate closely with the business to understand real problems, not just written requirements, and take genuine ownership of the solutions you deliver.

This role suits someone who enjoys getting stuck in, learns quickly, and adapts to changing business needs. Our strongest developers are curious about the why behind what they build, actively engage with users and stakeholders, and take initiative rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
