A healthcare practice in Rugby is seeking an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner to work 24 hours a week. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients independently while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and be registered with NMC or HCPC. This position offers a dynamic work environment focused on high-quality patient care and ongoing professional development.
We are looking for a Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner, on a permanent basis, to do 24 hours per week on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (8 hours a day - days are non-negotiable).You will be based at Clifton Road Surgery, situated within the centre of Rugby. We are a large and forward looking training practice responsible for approximately 15,000 patients.
We invite applications from suitably qualified Practitioners with skills to clinically assess, diagnose, refer and manage patients with a range of conditions. The ability to work independently and to demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process is required and to take lead responsibility for the care of patients as well as working as part of a team.
All our appointments are clinically triaged, ensuring our patients see the right clinician at the right time. All our Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner appointments are 10 minutes in length as the patient presenting will have one single acute issue. Admin and results time is protected, together with access to a regular twoweekly mentor time with a dedicated GP.
The Practice uses Emis Web and training will be available for the successful candidate if required.
You will be based at Clifton Road Surgery, situated within the centre of Rugby. We are a large and forward-looking training practice responsible for approximately 15,000 patients. Our practice team consists of 4 GP partners, 1 Managing Partner, 5 salaried GPs, primary care practitioners, practice nurses, HCAs, plus a full team of admin support. We are a dynamic practice and pride ourselves on offering the highest standard of patient centred care to our patients.
Summary
The primary focus of the role is to work as an autonomous practitioner providing high quality and timely patient centred care.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral and discharge of a diverse range of patients with minor injuries/minor illnesses, without reference to a doctor and within their level of competence and agreed protocols.

Act as an ANP/PCP, demonstrating advanced clinical competence and a knowledge base beyond those associated with conventional ANP/PCP roles.
