Job description

The role will primarily support the Senior Investment Manager, Real Estate, with daily responsibilities. The candidate will undertake portfolio and property-level financial analysis, conduct market research and due diligence for investment and manager selection, and coordinate portfolio administration. Responsibilities include financial modelling, manager evaluation, and preparing materials for internal committee discussions. The role involves analyzing and monitoring Nest's current portfolio at both asset and portfolio levels, understanding macroeconomic dynamics, and assisting in identifying new investment opportunities. The candidate will also maintain and expand a network of manager and peer relationships. As a member of the Public and Private Markets team, the candidate may contribute to research, selection, and evaluation of other private market mandates and investments. Real estate is a key component of Nest's private market portfolio, impacting Nest Invest's overall objectives. Nest Invest Ltd, the investment subsidiary of Nest Corporation, manages the retirement savings of millions of UK workers. Its mission is to grow members’ pension pots through responsible and innovative investment strategies. Since December 2019, the teams have been seconded into Nest Invest Ltd.   7. Investment Proposition Development - Evolving investment offerings to meet members’ needs.

Nest was established by the UK government to provide good savings options for UK workers post-auto enrolment.
